She has a B.S. in Education, an M. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership, has completed all coursework toward a Ph. D. in Educational Leadership, and is currently completing an M.S. and Licensure in Clinical Psychology and Counseling, with an emphasis in trauma and under-served communities.
